Maxxis Tires is known for its side-by-side tires dominating King of the Hammers with the 2020 UTV winner Hunter Miller and the 2021 UTV winner Kyle Chaney, racing on the Roxxzilla tire. With the growth of the side-by-side market, the expansion of tire sizes was needed.
The Roxxzilla delivers elite rock-crawling performance and features a rugged, 8-ply rated radial construction. This tire is also available in select sizes with a competition “sticky” compound and a standard compound.
Previously the Roxxzilla was only available in 14-inch and 15-inch wheel sizes, but Maxxis debuted a new tire size at this year's SEMA Show. Featured in the new product showcase Maxxis debuted a Roxxzilla 37x10R17 tire that fits 17-inch side-by-side wheels.
The larger wheel size opens options for side-by-sides to run a 17-inch wheel that can fit larger brakes or other modifications that weren't previously able to fit with smaller wheels. In addition, it still provides the most ground clearance when off-road.
