Kyle LeDuc To Sit Out 2023 Short-Course Season

Kyle LeDuc posted on social media that he will be sitting out of the 2023 season to focus on himself and his health.

The LeDuc name has been there since I can remember going back to when I first got into watching short-course racing when the TORC series was around. This year there will be a missing LeDuc from the 2023 Championship Off-Road short-course race season.

Kyle LeDuc posted on social media that he will be sitting out of the 2023 season to focus on himself and his health. He announced that he has been fighting Stage 4 head and neck cancer since November of 2022.

Short-course racing will be a little different in 2023 without Kyle LeDuc.

Kyle’s post stated:

“What’s up everybody, I will not be competing in the short course series this year as we have been fighting stage 4 head and neck cancer since November. We had hopes that Reed and myself and the whole family and team would be in the Midwest and able to compete but the way treatments and plans have changed we will not be able too. I just wanted to let our fans, followers and friends know what my little family has been battling and that we’re giving it everything we have to come out the other end of this. Thank you for your support! We have made some 99 STRONG swag on our 99duc.com website if you are interested. Would be really cool to see all of you again at the tracks, but it’s going to take us time to get back to 100% and get healthy.”

Kyle has always put up a great battle in the dirt, and we know he will put up one heck of a battle against this. We know racers and fans alike will all be cheering for Kyle during this time of his life.

From everyone at Sand Sports Super Show, we send our thoughts and prayers to Kyle and the entire LeDuc family during this tough time. If anyone can beat it, he sure can. If you would like to support Kyle in his battle, be sure to check out the 99 Strong gear on his website.
