The San Diego Off-Road Coalition (SDORC) is hosting its 17th annual Lost Lizard Off-Road Fun Run on November 5th in the Superstition OHV Area at The Dip. This year's fun run is a family-friendly 20-mile course that features five checkpoints with fun games.
"We generally have a couple of thousand people for our annual Lost Lizard Fun Run," Audrey Mason of SDORC said. "It is a family-friendly event that we encourage the whole family to come out to. Beginners to full-blown desert rats to come out as we have a green easy route, and a red difficult shoot-off, to test those skills and abilities."
"This fun run is our annual fundraiser with five checkpoints. You ride for three to five miles, get out at a checkpoint, play games to earn additional raffle tickets, and then we have a raffle that night. The course is open from 9 am to 3 pm as this is not a race. Do it at your own pace, and have a great time making memories. Any and all types of OHVs are welcome. We are hoping to make this our biggest and best year yet."
There will be great prizes for best hand, second best hand, and worst hand. In addition, there will also be a giant raffle with fantastic prizes, as well as plenty of great food at the event. If you want to win, don't forget that playing multiple entries increases your chances of winning.
The Lost Lizard Off-Road Fun Run welcomes all off-roaders, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and 4x4s. This is a great event to get the entire family out for fun in the desert with a great group of people. The last Lost Lizard event had over 3,000 people in attendance.
