Sun Sets On This Year’s Sand Sports Super Show
The 2023 Sand Sports Super Show is in the books, here is just a little of what happened at this year's show.

The sun has set on the 2023 edition of the Sand Sports Super Show, and it was one for the record books. This year’s show had over 31,500 attendees from all over the United States, the Middle East, Germany, and Iceland.

Everyone who came to the show came for one reason: to see the latest and greatest in the sand sports industry. From the latest products to the newest vehicles could be found at one of the 338 exhibitors at this year’s show.

Booths were packed all weekend long at this year's Sand Sports Super Show.

“This year's Sand Sports Super Show was amazing,” Cameron Murray of Mwhips. “With it being our third year in business and our third year to the show, the love and support from our community and customers was awesome. I was delighted by the loyal support we continue to receive. It really has been a blessing. Thank you all for allowing us to earn your business and for the entire off-road community.”

Numerous exhibitors took advantage of the show to release their newest products. This year's show debuted new audio systems, wheels, seats, and more to the sand sports audience. For the latest products released, check out our article, which features them.

Michael Cox returning the favor to Zac Conner after the little bump they had the day before.

The Proving Grounds, presented by BF Goodrich in partnership with HammerKing Productions, featured high-flying action all weekend. This was the place to watch guys from the Terra Crew rip up the course. From mini bikes to drift cars to prerunners, no matter who went out, there was something.

“This year at the proving grounds was great,” Eric Conner said. “I really enjoyed the crowd coming up and being able to check out the trucks after we were out there. It was even better this year having my son Zac out there putting on a show for everyone. I was excited and nervous all at the same time, but he did great out there nailing everything we talked about.”

“Blown away was an understatement, I felt like the parent at a football game who’s kid was the star player. Seeing the crowd cheer him on felt very good. It was definitely a proud dad moment.”

The winner of the American Sand Association was all smiles after finding out he won.

Vern Wallace of Prescott, Arizona, won the Polaris RZR Pro R that the American Sand Association was giving away. The giveaway was even more special this year as Wallace was in attendance at the show during the live drawing.

Overall the 2023 Sand Sports Super Show another great show where the industry got together. If you missed this year’s show, be sure to come out to next year’s show from September 20 to 22, 2024, at the OC Fair & Event Center.
